Evaluation of coffee bean husk fermented by a combination of Aspergillus niger, Trichoderma harzianum, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae as animal feed

Abundant coffee bean husk acquires an alternative source of fiber for livestock feed, but a high level the crude it became obstacle. Solid-state fermentation technology using lignocellulolytic fungi is known to be able improve nutritional quality feedstuff that have content. Its mechanism through degradation lignocellulose fraction and enhance protein This study aimed determine fermented with combination yeast. The method used solid-state consisting 7 different inoculums, namely: P0: Unfermented husk, P1: Aspergillus niger, P2: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, P3: Trichoderma harzianum, P4: niger + S. Cereviciase, P5: P6: cerevisiae harzianum P7: Saccharomyces. Cereviciase harzianum. was determined by proximate analysis, fraction, digestibility. data obtained were analyzed ANOVA followed Tukey's post hoc test. content (P1-P7) lower than unfermented (P0). There no significant difference among treatments in fat protein. Treatment P3 has highest total digestibility nutrient (70) (15.03). A reduce lignin about (4,16%). In conclusion, can utilized as animal higher unfermented.
